We are once again taking part in this years Handmade Festival, with two exhibitions at the O2 Arena at the Leicester University campus. ‘HighLife, Low Life’ – an analogue exhibition by Lo-Fi member Joe Manger ‘Handmade Books’ – a small collection of unique one-off books made by the group. Both shows are on this weekend only.
We have been given permission to use the very well equipped darkroom at the St Margarets campus of Leicester College. We will be running darkroom and film processing sessions on a Thursday evening 6-9pm.

We are pleased to announce that the Darkroom will be open as normal from next week. So pop along Tuesday (31st Jan) or Wednesday (1st Feb) 6-9pm for all your analogue film fun!
Unfortunately due to issues raised by our service providers Leicester City Council we will not be opening The Community Darkroom at The Manor House Community Centre this Tuesday or Wednesday (17th & 18th January). We are currently trying to resolve these problems LCC have raised as soon as possible and we hope to open again

As the Christmas Season is almost upon us, the darkroom will be closed on the following days over the next few weeks: Wednesday 14th December. Tuesday 27th December. Wednesday 28th December. We hope you all have a very merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you in the New Year

Last weekend saw the start of this years Art Trail Festival, for our part we put on a Kamra-e-faoree portrait session at the Orange Tree, as well as the ‘Exposure’ exhibition. Check out some images from the portrait session below, and go check out the exhibition, its on until the end of the month.
