We are once again taking part in this years Handmade Festival, with two exhibitions at the O2 Arena at the Leicester University campus. ‘HighLife, Low Life’ – an analogue exhibition by Lo-Fi member Joe Manger ‘Handmade Books’ – a small collection of unique one-off books made by the group. Both shows are on this weekend only.
Last weekend saw the start of this years Art Trail Festival, for our part we put on a Kamra-e-faoree portrait session at the Orange Tree, as well as the ‘Exposure’ exhibition. Check out some images from the portrait session below, and go check out the exhibition, its on until the end of the month.
Our latest exhibition – Exposure – has just been installed at the Orange Tree. Collating recent work by current Leicester Lo-Fi members. With everything from pinholes to photograms, paper negatives to destroyed negatives. It’s on show until the end of August.
We shall be attending this years Riverside Festival, held around Bede Park, Mile Straight, Western Boulevard and Castle Gardens on the 4th and 5th of June. We’ll be setting up camp (literally) with our new Gazebo and will be producing Kamra-E-Faoree portraits for visitors to the festival. A section of images from the event:
